- July 8, 1:00 pm, Animal Adaptations presented by the Lussier Family Heritage Center. This is an animal meet and greet opportunity. We will explore and discuss what an adaptation is and then work on identifying the different adaptations animals have to survive. At the Mazomanie Library.
- July 15, 1:30 pm, Storybook Scavenger Hunt. Pick up a sheet at the library, read the story on the Promenade, find the answers to the clues and get prizes. At the Mazomanie Promenade.
- July 22, 1:00 pm, Critter Scene Investigation presented by the Lussier Family Heritage Center. Use crime scene investigation skill in this animal identification program to discover the wildlife in Wisconsin. Learn how to investigate clues to determine what types of wildlife have been visiting our area. A fun interactive program. For ages 8-13. At the Mazomanie Library.
- August 7, 6:30 pm, Kids & Family Music Night with Ken Lonnquist. An evening of high-energy songs that inspire, enlighten and entertain. Ken will be performing his original songs as well as familiar favorites. Bring the family, bring a blanket and enjoy the fun. At the Mazomanie Pavilion.
- August 14, 1:00 pm, Wading in Black Earth Creek. Join stream biologists from DNR and UW Biocore as we collect and study samples of aquatic life in the creek. Park at Salmo Pond (Hwy 14 & Sherbel Rd.)
- August 15, Driftless Explorer Parks Passport Program begins. Kids, pickup your parks passport and enjoy the great outdoors. Visit local parks in the passport, complete an activity and win prizes. The program will run through Oct. 15.
- August 28, 6:30, Wisconsin Heights Movie Night. Join us after the Wisconsin Heights school Open-house for a family friendly movie. Bring the family and enjoy free popcorn. At Wisconsin Heights Soccer Field, Hwy 14.
