Join us for a book discussion of "James" by Percival Everett. This is UW’s Go Big Read for 2025-2026. This annual event is a common book program for the campus community and beyond. "James" is a 2025 Pulitzer Prize winner.

James retells "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" from the perspective of Jim, an enslaved man who runs away to avoid being sold and separated from his family.

The library will have a limited number of copies available to those wishing to join the discussion. Please call the library to reserve a copy of the book - 608-795-2104.
